VIV Arts has officially launched its first ever digital experience! After months of working together with social psychologists and art curators, we built a digital experience that reveals one’s “artistic persona” based on a selection of artworks. There are no wrong answers and no bad outcomes, only a unique insight into how we as viewers and collectors perceive art in today’s digital age. To kickstart our event in collaboration with Christie’s London, “Can you Collect Experiences?” “Can you Collect Experiences?” , George Nelson for ArtNews wrote about the special moment the experience was unveiled:
“Before the speakers dissected the topic at hand, the room was quickly profiled via a quiz entered by scanning a QR code on a flyer to reveal each audience member’s ‘artistic persona.’ Answering a series of multiple-choice questions led to one of four personality outcomes: ‘aesthetic enthusiast’; ‘modern maverick’; ‘social collector’; or ‘experiences explorer.’ When the results came in, a show of hands indicated most people were the latter. Things were off to a good start.”
Oliva Sartogo, VIV Arts co-founder, notes that “The quiz dives into your artistic persona, utilizing concepts from social and cultural psychology. It’s a unique blend of art and psychological insight, designed to offer a personalized art experience.” VIV Arts believes that the future of art lies in experiences, and this is an exciting first step in realising this more tangibly.
If you haven’t already, discover your “artistic persona” now now and let us know what you get on Instagram Instagram or LinkedIn LinkedIn – we look forward to connecting and learning more about our vibrant VIV Arts community!
